Heloniopsis orientalis flowers at the beginning of flowering part 1

When I saw them about 1 week after shooting flower buds, heloniopsis orientalis had started to bloom.
The flower stalk grew up from the protrusion of the center of each stock, and flowers were blooming in clusters at its tip.
"It's strange, the flowers I saw last year were redder and taller..."
I wondered and looked it up, and finally found out that heloniopsis orientalis flowers keep blooming for days and in the meantime its flower stalk grows and the color of flowers turns red.
That means, it seems like the time when we can see these small, bluish purple flowers is only at this time when they start to bloom.
At the same time as I understood, I decided to continue observing heloniopsis orientalis flowers for more while.

開花し始めの頃のショウジョウバカマ その１

花芽を撮影してから約１週間後、ショウジョウバカマの開花が始まっていました。
株の中央の突起から茎が伸び、その先端に花が鈴なりになっていました。
「おかしいなぁ、昨年見た花はもっと赤くてもっと背が高かったのに」
不思議に思って調べたところ、ショウジョウバカマの花は何日もの間咲き続け、その間に花茎が長く伸び、花の色も赤く変わっていくのだそう。
つまり、この小さくて青みのある紫色の花を見られる時期は、この開花し始めたばかりの頃だけのようです。
納得すると同時に、私のショウジョウバカマの花の観察は、もうしばらく続けることにしました。
