Edible flower bud of Japanese butterbur that had grown from a young strain

This is one of photos I took the edible flower buds of Japanese butterbur in my mother's garden.
This place is a part of the path where I always weed, there used to be a lot of Houttuynia.
While I weeded Houttuynia with its roots, the Japanese butterbur growing nearby seemed to begin to grow roots, and so the edible flower buds of it appeared even also on paths in 2022.
Maybe because it grew from a still young strain, it was a small one with a small number of floret buds.
Although I needed to weed it soon for securing the path, I consulted with my mother and decided that we watched this edible flower buds over until growing up, and harvested after taking this photo.

若い株のフキノトウ

母の庭で撮影したフキノトウの写真の１枚です。
この場所は私がいつも草取りしている通路の一部で、かつてはドクダミがたくさん生えていた場所でした。
ドクダミを根ごと取り除いているうちに、近くに生えていたフキが根を伸ばしたらしく、今年は通路にもフキノトウが顔を出しました。
まだ若い株だからか、蕾の数が少なめな小さな花芽でした。
通路を確保するためにはすぐに取り除くべきでしたが、母と話した結果、食べごろになるまで見守り、こうして写真を撮ってから収穫しました。
