This deck was an appendix of a magazine, the theme of which was "the keys for enhancing ability and charm as a female", so its cards have modern, casual and fashionable paintings that young women like. Although it was published in 2006, it is so good that it may be still liked even now and may become popular. Its goodness is probably the result of sensitivity and drawing ability of the creator who captures and expresses universal fashion that is not influenced by trend, I think.

The "Death" card in such deck has a painting of a guy who is a type that can be recognized as "dangerous" at a glance. His shirt and belt buckle have a skull painting, his arms have "Death" letters and snake painting tattoo, and he has a choker with big thorns on his neck. His shirt sleeves and pants hems are short and have fine fringes like frayed fibers. In addition, he has a scythe, so women with a normal heart would not want to get along.

In other words, maybe, if we look at this painting and think "wow, he's nice! he's cool! I wanna get along!", it means that we may have failed in how to enhance the charm as a female and how to choose the life direction.

However, this painting is also nicely drawn, sure. Thanks of that, I can't deny to be a little fascinated by this "Death" guy. The creator is truly a famous illustrator, and he has so nice drawing sense, sure.

Death

　雑誌の付録だったデッキで、本誌のテーマが「女性としての魅力を高める秘訣」だったこともあり、若い女性が好みそうな現代的でカジュアルかつファッショナブルな印象の絵柄になっています。2006年発行ですが、現在でも好まれ、人気になりそうです。きっと、流行に左右されない普遍的なファッション性を捉えて表現する作画担当者のセンスと画力の賜物でしょう。
　そんなデッキにおける「Death」は、一見して「アブナイ」と判るタイプの若い男性が描かれています。シャツやベルトのバックルにはドクロがあしらわれていますし、左右の腕には「Death」という文字や蛇のタトゥー、首には大きなトゲ付きのチョーカー。シャツの袖やズボンの裾は短く、繊維のほつれのような細かなフリンジが見られます。その上で大鎌を持っているのですから、平常心を持っている女性ならばお近づきにはなりたくないと思うでしょう。
　つまり、この絵を見て「わぁ、ステキ！　カッコいい！　仲良くなりたい！」と思えるのなら、女性としての魅力の高め方や人生の方向性の選び方において、失敗しているかもしれないということでしょう。
　ただ、この絵も結構ステキに描かれているのですよね。おかげでこの「Death」の男性にちょっとだけ気持ちがグラッとするのも否めません。さすが著名なイラストレーター氏、作画センスが素敵すぎます。
