Thyme about to be in full bloom

I took the thyme flowers that were blooming in my mother's garden, and this photo is one of them.
I knew there was an herb called thyme, but I didn't know that this plant occupying a corner of my mother's garden was thyme until I looked it up on Google Lens in spring 2021.
My mother, who planted it, didn't know the name thyme or that there was an herb called thyme.
"The pink flowers were so cute that I just asked to share them. I never thought it was such a strong plant", she said.
Also she says, she cuts the overspread parts every year, but it has spread to the same extent again after a year.
If you could feel the strength of its vitality from the number of flowers and glossy of leaves of this photo, I would be glad.

満開を迎えつつあるタイム

母の庭に咲いたタイムの花を撮りました。
私はタイムというハーブがあることは知っていましたが、母の庭の片隅を占領しているこの草がタイムであることは、この春Google Lensで調べるまで知りませんでした。
植えた張本人である母に至っては、タイムという名称も、タイムというハーブがあることも知りませんでした。
「ピンクの花が可愛かったから分けてもらっただけだもの。まさかこんなに強い草だとは思わなかったわ」
広がりすぎた部分を毎年切るそうですが、１年経つとまた同じぐらいまで広がっているのだとか。
その生命力の強さが、この写真の花の数や葉の艶やかさから伝わると嬉しいです。
