Even though the season when flowers are beautiful

Since I started posting photos on Pixabay, I have become to take more of what I like. Still, I haven't improved much, so I tend to shoot only things that do not move in bright places. For example, sceneries, plants, buildings, the sky, etc., all is those I felt "lovely!", "wonderful!".

So I'm happy in the spring. When I see various flowers begin to bloom one after another, I go to my favorite spot for photography. This place if for cherry blossoms, and that place if for nemophilas, as like that, I have searched for each beautiful places for some kinds of flowers.

But this spring, I gave up on going to those places. Because I am refraining from going out by taking measures against the COVID-19. I'm very regrettable. There are many places in my town and its neighboring cities that are not famous but are popular with locals. Among them are also cherry blossom spots and beautiful parks of flowers, as well as a crowd of plants that only live in this region. I wanted to post images taken at such hidden spots on my blog and Pixabay again this year.

The other day, when I went shopping by car, I saw that the flowers of Nanja-monja tree (Hitotsubatago : Chionanthus retusus) were already in full bloom. This tree has now been planted in many prefectures and became widely known, but previously it was only found in Tsushima and parts of the Kiso River basin. In some areas of them, it is said that the flowers of Nanja-monja are the flower informing the time of rice planting. By the time the flowers bloom and the trees look like covered in snow or cotton, the rice fields become like water mirrors with rice seedlings lined up. This year is no exception, and rice farmers have finished planting rice.

As I mentioned earlier, I gave up Oshampo (taking a walk while taking a photo) this spring, so the images in this article are not photos of this year's flowers. However, this year's Nanja-monja flowers bloomed superbly white and beautiful, too. Next year, I want to go to take photos.

せっかく花が美しい季節なのに

Pixabayに写真を投稿するようになって以来、私は好きなものを撮ることが増えました。それでもなかなか上達しないので、明るい場所で動かないものばかりを狙いがちです。例えば、風景とか植物、建造物、空などで、「綺麗！」「凄い！」と感じたものばかりです。

だから、春になると私は嬉しくなります。いろんな花々が次々と咲き始めるのを見ると、お気に入りのスポットへ撮影に行きます。桜ならここ、ネモフィラならあそこと、何種類かの花は見応えのある場所を見つけてあるのです。

しかし、今年の春は、それらの場所へ行くのを諦めました。新型コロナウイルス対策により、外出を自粛しているからです。とても残念でなりません。私の暮らす街とその近隣都市には、有名ではないけれど地元民に人気の場所がたくさんあります。それらの中には、桜の名所や花々の美しい公園もありますし、この地域にしか咲かない花の群生地もあります。そうした隠れスポットで撮影した画像を、今年もブログやPixabayに投稿したかったです。

先日、車で買い物に出かけたら、既になんじゃもんじゃの木（ヒトツバタゴ）の花が満開になっているのを見かけました。この花は、今でこそ他の都道府県でも植えられ、広く知られるようになりましたが、以前は木曽川流域の一部と対馬でしか見られませんでした。それらの中の一部地域では、なんじゃもんじゃの花は田植えの時期を報せる花とも言われています。花が咲いて木が雪か綿が被ったような姿になる頃には、田は稲の早苗が並んだ水鏡のようになるのです。今年も例外ではなく、農家は田植えを終えています。

前述のとおり、今春はお写んぽ（撮影散歩）を諦めましたので、この記事に掲載した画像は今年の花の様子ではありません。しかし、今年のなんじゃもんじゃの花も、見事に真っ白く美しく咲きました。来年こそ、撮影に行きたいものです。
