Torii gate on the approach to Kujiri Shrine

Some of the torii gates at the shrine are large stone structures.
They are often on the approach to the shrine, and may be attached with shimenawa and shimekazari.
Because they are things to let the visitors know that the area beyond that is a sacred realm.
The torii shown in the photo was also attached with shimekazari to protect the clean and solemn place.
I wanted to photograph the imposing atmosphere of the torii, so I searched for an angle that could capture the whole.
I am happy that I was able to shoot as I intended.

久尻神社の参道の鳥居

神社の鳥居には、石造りの大きなものもあります。
それらは、参道に設置されていることが多く、注連縄や注連飾りが施されていることもあります。
訪れる人々に、そこから先は神聖な領域だと知らせるためです。
写真の鳥居にも注連飾りがかけられ、清浄で厳かな場所を守っていました。
その鳥居の堂々とした雰囲気を撮りたくて、私は全体が写るアングルを探しました。
狙いどおりに撮れて、嬉しく思えた１枚です。
