Profile of Komainu statue

I shooted from the side a komainu statue at Kujiri Shrine in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture.
The Komainu statue of this shrine has a fearless facial feature, the expression full of fighting spirit is cool even from the side.
I chose the angle to be able to watch also its ear shape, how to express its mane, and its body line, etc..
This may not be very liked as a photo angle of Komainu statue, but I like this photo quite a bit.

狛犬の横顔

岐阜県土岐市にある久尻神社の狛犬を、横から撮影しました。
この神社の狛犬は精悍な顔立ちで、横から見ても闘志溢れる表情が素敵です。
それに、耳の形や鬣の表現の仕方、体つきなどを興味深く見ることのできるアングルを選びました。
狛犬の写真としてはあまり好まれないアングルかもしれませんが、私としては結構気に入っています。
