Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum I took without knowing its name

I shoot flowers, but I'm ignorant of plants and often shoot without knowing the name.
This photo is also one of them.
I found this flower at Hana Festa Kinen Koen (Flower Festival Commemorative Park), and being impressed the flower shape like fireworks, took a photo without thinking.
For writing this article I found out and knew this flower is Benibana Tokiwa-mansaku (Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum).
When I took a photo, it had been a little past the best time.
If I have the next chance, I definitly want to shoot it in full bloom.

知らずに撮ったベニバナトキワマンサク

花の写真を撮る私ですが、植物には疎く、名前も知らずに撮ることも多々あります。
この写真もそういう１枚です。
花フェスタ記念公園で見かけ、花火のような花の姿に思わず撮ったのでした。
この記事を書くにあたり調べたところ、ベニバナトキワマンサクだと知りました。
私が撮影したのは見頃を少し過ぎた状態のようです。
次の機会があれば、ぜひ満開の時を撮りたいです。
