• 15 pages of explanation and how to use for this deck were from 62 page on the magazine, but I have already disposed it.

This deck was produced by the same person in both creation and supervision. That person seems to be a spiritual counselor, for this deck, he used his pictures painted with mysterious power, I read. But I can't understand his mysterious power, so I will write not about it but about my impression of seeing his picture of cards to the last. Please note that.

This creator's pictures are oil paintings, according to the whole deck, he drew material existences (human itself or animals etc.) clearly in order to be sawn so but tended to blur the outline for spiritual existences (angel or gods and budha etc.). Based on that, this "DEATH" seems to be drawn extremely spiritual world. Therefore, I will try to watch this card using impression of colors, my imagination and my little knowledge.

I have an impression that there are many bright colored cards in this deck, this "DEATH" card is especially so. In decks I know, maybe, this is the brightest colored picture of "DEATH" card.

Yellow is mostly used in this picture. It is the color used for expressing for light of the sun, and then, I can associate the light and power of God and Buddha.

At the center of the yellow-full picture, there is a green shaped like a ship. Green is the color of plants, is also said the color that people feel peace of mind.

Around that green, there are hazy something pink and radial something white. I can associate things like dear feelings or happiness with pink color, things like the most dazzling something or cleanliness with white.

Based on the above colors, I can look this "DEATH" as a picture drawn the world after death (the heaven or the world of God and Buddha). That is, green in the center will be the heaven or the paradise in the world of God and Buddha, pink will be souls gathering there or happiness from the souls, white will be God, Buddha and angels who are watching over the paradise, I guess so. Especially, white painted under the green looks like a winged person (an angel).

At the feet of that angel, something that looks pink or flesh is painted horizontally. I look this as a dead person. He should be a soul because he came this world, but he remembers his death strongly so may be lying down as he was when he died, I think. And then, he may go to somewhere of the world of after the death under the guidance of the angel.

This picture looks like that the creator perceives death brightly and positively and beautifies it to the highest level. About this point, I think that many people feel unacceptable because of thinking "Death should be terrifying and sad, so not be beautified". I also have such feelings more or less and am difficult to accept this card unconditionally.

However, what not to forget is that the creator is active as a spiritual counselor with his theme "To make people happy". He used his pictures that "make people happy just seeing at" for this deck, I read.

For people to feel happy, it is essential to be in a state to have no anxiety, no worry, no fear and no sadness in heart. In those negative minds, feelings like that "What happens when I die" or that "I'm sad and painful to mourn my loved ones" are also included, of course. And, when we think about anyone's death we are usually easy to feel down into negative psychological state. Depending on the situation at that time, also it can be difficult to regain the usual-flat mental state. To that extent, the theme "Death" is serious and difficult for everyone.

I think that this picture was drawn with the brightest colors for that the creator dared to beautify the death to create the trigger that people facing that serious and difficult theme regain usual flat mind state from negative psychological state. If I see this picture at that way, in the case to want to control the mind to positive state consciously, I feel like it might be effective.

However, I don't want to show it to anyone who may be always thinking deeply about death of self and others such as a person who is treating depressive symptoms. The only case I could show it to others would be if a person who is initially physically and mentally healthy became to fear the death excessively with some reason.

13番：DEATH

　このデッキは、監修も作画も一人の人物が行なっています。その人物はスピリチュアルカウンセラーだそうで、その不思議なパワーを込めた絵をこのデッキに用いているとのことです。しかし、私には彼のパワーは理解しきれませんので、ここでは触れず、あくまでも絵を見ての感想にとどめます。あらかじめご理解ください。
　この製作者の絵は油絵で、このデッキを拝見したところ、物質的な存在（人物そのものや動物など）は明確にそれと判るよう描かれていますが、精神的な存在（天使や神仏など）は輪郭がはっきりしない描き方をされがちです。それを踏まえて見ると、この「DEATH」は極めて精神的な世界を描いたものと見受けられます。そのため、私は色の持つ印象と自分の想像力と少ない知識を使って、このカードを見てみます。
　デッキ全体を通して明るい色使いが多い印象ですが、この「DEATH」のカードは特に目立ちます。私が知る限り、多分、最も明るい色使いの「DEATH」の絵です。
　全体的に、黄色いです。これは、太陽の光に用いられることが多い色で、そこから神仏の光や力を連想できます。
　その中央に、緑色の船のような形があります。緑色は植物の葉の色で、人が心の安らぎを感じる色とも言われます。
　緑色の周囲には、ピンク色の靄のようなものと、放射状の白色があります。ピンク色からは親愛の感情や幸福感といったものを、白色からは最も眩しいものや清浄さといったものを、それぞれ連想できます。
　ここまでの色使いから、この「DEATH」は死後の世界（天国とか神仏の世界とか）を描いたものと、見受けられます。つまり、中央の緑色は天国や神仏の世界の楽園で、ピンク色はそこに集う魂や魂から発せられる幸福感、白色は楽園を見守る神仏や天使だろうと、私は見ました。特に、緑色の下に描かれた白色は、翼か羽のある人物（天使）に見えます。
　その天使の足元には、ピンク色とも肉色とも見える何かが横長に描かれています。これを私は、死者と見ました。この世界に来たということは魂のみですが、まだ自分自身の死を強く覚えているために、最期の姿のまま横たわっているのでしょう。そして、これから天使により導かれてこの死後の世界のどこかへと向かうのかもしれません。
　この絵では死を明るく前向きに捉え、この上なく美化していると感じられます。この点に関しては、「死は恐るべきものであり、悲しいものだから、美化するべきではない」と受け入れがたく感じる人も少なくないと思います。私にもそういう気持ちが多少あるので、このカードを手放しで受け入れることは難しいです。
　但し、忘れてはいけないのは、製作者がスピリチュアルカウンセラーとして「人々を幸せに導くこと」をテーマに活動している点です。このデッキも、「眺めるだけで幸せになる」絵を用いているのだとか。
　幸せとは、心に不安や心配、恐怖や悲しみがない状態が必須です。そうしたネガティブな心理には、「死んだらどうなるんだろう？」とか「大切な人を喪って悲しい、辛い」といったものも当然含まれます。そして、私たちは自他の死について考える時、普通いくらかはネガティブな心理状態に陥ります。その時の状況によっては、フラットな精神状態に戻るのが困難なこともあり得ます。それぐらい、死というテーマは誰にとっても重大で、難解です。
　この絵は、その重大で難解なテーマに触れた人がネガティブな心理状態から平常心へと戻るきっかけを作るために、敢えて死を美化し、最も明るく感じられる色使いで描かれているのだと思います。そう踏まえて見ますと、意識的に精神状態をポジティブな方向へとコントロールしたい時には、有効な気がします。
　ただ、鬱症状を治療中の人など、常に自他の死について深く考えていそうな人には、私は見せたくないですね。もし人に見ることを勧めるのなら、「心身ともに健康な人が何かをきっかけに死を過剰に怖れるようになった場合」に限りたいです。
