Heloniopsis orientalis flowers shot beyond Ophiopogon japonicus leaves

This is a photo I took in my parent's house's garden in the spring 2020.
Small flowers were blooming in a corner that was not sunny and inconspicuous.
Those were Heloniopsis orientalis flowers in this photo.
Long and narrow leaves in the foreground are Ophiopogon japonicus leaves.
Those flowers blooming hiding behind the thick leaves of Ophiopogon japonicus seemed to be embarrassed and made me feel cute.
In 2021, I definitely want to take a photo of Heloniopsis orientalis flower with its own leaves.

リュウノヒゲの葉とショウジョウバカマの花

2020年春に、実家の庭で撮影した１枚です。
日当たりが良くなくて目立たない一角に、小さな花が咲いていました。
それがこのショウジョウバカマでした。
手前の細長い葉は、リュウノヒゲです。
こんもりと茂るリュウノヒゲに隠れるように咲いている姿が、まるで恥ずかしがっているようで可愛らしく感じました。
2021年には、ぜひともショウジョウバカマそのものの葉も一緒に写したいものです。
