Flowering at the corner of my mother's garden

This is a photo I took at my mother's garden in the spring 2020.
The pale yellow flower was blooming at the corner, so I shot it against other garden trees as the background with holding my body in a low position.
I asked my mother this flower's name but she forgot it, then I searched it and saw it might be Tritonia.
"Because I got and planted bulbs or seedlings many years ago, I forgot its name although I heard it from person who gave me it. Even so, it still remains, wow."
From her words, I saw that this plant had perhaps grown strong naturally even if forgotten by her.
My mother's garden, for me, is a little wonderland.

母の庭の片隅で

2020年春、母の庭で撮った写真です。
片隅でクリーム色の花が咲き始めていたので、体を低くして他の庭木を背景に入れて撮りました。
この花の名前を母に聞きましたが忘れたそうで、調べてみたところ、おそらくヒメトウショウブでしょう。
「球根だか苗だかをもらって植えたのも何年も前だし、名前を聞いておいたけど忘れちゃったわ。それにしても、まだ残っていたのねぇ」
母の言葉から察するに、この花は母に忘れられても逞しく自生していたようです。
私の母の庭は、私にとって、ちょっとしたワンダーランドです。
