Last cherry blossoms

This is one of photos I took in the park in the spring 2020.
It was after Somei-yoshino cherry blossoms were in full bloom on the shooting day.
While walking in a disappointing mood, I found this branch.
Though it was a tree that almost flowers had fallen, a few flowers were just blooming lively.
The cherry tree, even if there are only a few buds left, opens them hard.
It's not for stopping spectators' foot, but just living hard as long as living.
This is something we tend to forget but should cherish, I think.
I shot this branch that told me the important thing, while I was ashamed to feel disappointed.

名残の桜花

2020年春の公園で撮影したうちの１枚です。
撮影日にはソメイヨシノが満開を過ぎた後でした。
残念な気分になりながら歩いていたら、この枝が目に止まりました。
ほぼすべての花が散った木に、たった数輪ですが花が生き生きと咲いていました。
桜は、残りわずかな蕾であっても、懸命に咲かせます。
見物客を引き止めるためではなく、生きている限り生きることに懸命に尽力しているのです。
これは、私たちは忘れがちだけれど大切にすべきことではないでしょうか。
私は残念な気持ちになったことを恥ずかしく思いながら、大切なことを教えてくれたこの枝を撮影しました。
