Ardisia crenata in my mother's garden

In my mother's garden, flowers and trees other than sarcandra glabra also grow.
This photo's tree is one of them, ardisia crenata that bears white fruits.
There are also a kind of them that bears red fruits, but their fruits had been already lost for eaten by wild birds maybe because they had been standing out.
This tree, which beared white fruits, also maybe because there are many sarcandra glabra around it, still had many fruits.
In addition, its leaves were dark and firm, so I could see this tree was very fine.
I hope this tree will bear a lot of fruits next season as well.

母の庭のマンリョウ

母の庭にはセンリョウ以外の草花や木々も育っています。
この写真の木はその１つで、白い実がなる種類のマンリョウです。
赤い実がなる種類もあるのですが、色が目立つからか既に野鳥たちに啄ばまれた後でした。
この木は実の色が白ですし、すぐ近くにセンリョウがたくさんあるからか、まだ実をたくさんつけていました。
それに葉も色が濃くてハリもあり、木がとても元気なのが見てとれました。
来季もたくさんの実をつけてくれるといいなぁ。
