Red fruits of sarcandra glabra part 1

Sarcandra glabra and ardisia crenata raised by my mother had so many fruits in winter from 2020 to 2021.
She was surprised and glad with the amount too much.
Wanting that her close people to use her sarcandra glabra for the New Year's decorations, she gave them to her friends at the end of 2020, but her sarcandra glabra was still a lot remained.
So then, I shot them in commemoration.
Sarcandra glabra likes in the shade, so it tends to appear dark in photos.
When I change the camera setting to get a brighter image, I tend to take the fruits with glarring color.
Therefore, it was very hard for me to find the setting they looked beautiful.
That hard work made this photo memorable for also me.

センリョウの赤い実 その１

2020年から2021年にかけての冬は、母の育てたセンリョウやマンリョウにとてもたくさんの実がつきました。
その多さは、母が驚いて喜んだほどでした。
年末に母は一部を親しい方々へ正月飾り用にと差し上げましたが、それでもまだたくさん残っていました。
そこで、私が記念に撮影したわけです。
センリョウは日陰を好む植物なので、全体的に暗く写りがちです。
明るく写るようにカメラ設定を変更しますと、実の部分がギラついた発色になってしまいます。
そのため、美しく見える設定値を見つけるのが大変でした。
その分、この写真は私にとっても思い出深いものになりました。
