A little snow-capped ardisia crenata

This is a photo I took when a little snow piled up on the ardisia crenata that raised by my mother.
This tree's fruits are green close to white and not very noticeable, but they usually decrease in February as expected due to ripe fruit dropping or being eaten by wild birds.
I was worried about that, but its fruits remained yet, so I focused on their part and shot.
The ardisia crenata had snow only on its leaves, and it was as if carefully protecting its fruits from the snow.

雪を少し被ったマンリョウ

母の育てているマンリョウに、少し雪が積もった時に撮った写真です。
この木の実は白に近い緑色であまり目立ちませんが、２月にもなれば、熟して落果したり野鳥に啄まれたりして、少しずつ減っていきます。
なので心配でしたが、まだ実が残っていたので、その部分を中心にピントを合わせました。
葉だけに雪が積もっていて、まるで実を雪から守っているかのようでした。
