Buds of heloniopsis orientalis part 2

In spring 2021, I watched buds of heloniopsis orientalis at the first time.
I have seen its flowers and remenbered that they were blooming at the tip of its tall stem.
In addition, I remembered also that they were obviously red.
So, for me at that time, it was hard to convince that the flowers in my memory and the buds I captured in this photo were from the same plant.
"Are these really buds? Or, will buds come out from here?"
While wondering, for recording their states, I took this photo so that the size of protrusions where buds were coming out were easy to understand.

ショウジョウバカマの花芽 その２

この春、ショウジョウバカマの花芽を私は初めて見ました。
花は見たことがあり、たしか背の高い茎の先端で咲いていました。
それに、明らかに赤かったことを覚えていました。
なので、記憶にある花とこの写真のような状態とが、頭の中で結びつきませんでした。
「これは本当に花芽なの？　ここから蕾が出てくるの？」
疑問に思いながら、記録のために、花芽が顔を覗かせている突起のサイズがわかるよう、この写真を撮りました。
