Red camellia flower after raining

I shot a camellia flower that was blooming in my mother's garden, when the rain stopped.
It was a red double-flowered flower and had so many petals that, when the innermost petals would open and the pistils would be visible, the outermost petals would be brown.
So then, it can be said that the flower of this photo was still in the middle of opening.
But, because I like this flower in this state reminiscent of a geometric pattern, I was happy and absorbed in shooting it at that time.
I could coincidentally take a photo that makes the flower color stand out because the background and leaves were captured darkly due to cloudy weather.

雨後の椿

降っていた雨がやんだ隙に、母の庭に咲いていた椿を撮影しました。
八重咲きの赤い花で、中心の花弁が開いて蕊が見える頃には、いちばん外側の花弁が茶けてしまっているぐらい、花弁が幾重にも詰まっていました。
なので、この写真の花は、まだ咲きかけの状態と言えます。
しかし、私はこの幾何学模様を思わせる状態が好きで、この日は嬉しくて夢中になって撮りました。
偶然ながら、曇天で背景や葉がやや暗めに写り、花色が際立って見える写真になりました。
