Pot marigold flowers just beginning to bloom

When passing in the front of a certain house's flowerbed, I found adorable flowers with vivid orange color.
But I didn't know the flower's name, so I thought I would search on the net after getting home, and took this photo.
As results of searching on the net, I knew that this is the pot marigold, that flowers in this photo were in just beginning to bloom, and that flowers would open one size larger than this photo at the peak, etc.
The flowers in this photo, which may make us a more modest impression than when they are in full bloom, but are lovely, too, I think.

咲き始めたばかりのキンセンカ

とあるお家の花壇の前を通りがかった時、鮮やかなオレンジ色の可愛らしい花が目に入りました。
けれど、なんという花なのか知らず、帰宅後に調べようと思って撮影したのが、この写真です。
調べた結果、キンセンカという花であること、この時はまだ咲き始めたばかりの頃で、最盛期には一回り大きく花が開くことなどを知りました。
満開の頃と比べて控えめな感じかもしれませんが、この写真の頃も可愛らしいですよね。
