Winter daphne just beginning to bloom

I shot the winter daphne found on the way.
It seemed to just have begun to bloom, this bud mass was the only one that already starting to flower on that tree.
It was a moment that I expected to the good scent of the winter daphne would drift soon, I remembered not to have noticed flower scents of another houses' gardens for the past year or more afer starting the self-restaint life because I rarely go out, and I felt lonely.
I took this photo with a wish that I can notice the winter daphne's flowering by its scent in 2022.

咲き始めのジンチョウゲ

通りすがりに見つけたジンチョウゲを撮った写真です。
開花が始まったばかりだったようで、この木で既に花が開いていたのはこのひと塊りだけでした。
これからあの良い香りが漂うのかと期待したのも束の間、外出自粛生活が始まってからの１年以上、家からほとんど出ないため、他所のお庭の花々の香りに気づくことがなかったことを思い出し、寂しくなりました。
来年はこの花の開花に香りで気づけますようにという願いを込めて撮影した１枚です。
