Thyme blooming near the root of the tree

This is a photo of the thyme flowers I took at a corner of my mother's garden.
The thyme was planted just in the corner of the garden, grew around the root of a camellia tree.
These flowers were in the shade of the tree at the shooting time, so they were taken a little darker.
By the way, the thyme my mother planted was only one small seedling, I heard.
If we look at this photo after knowing that flowers in the background also grew from the same seedling originally, we can see how strong the thyme is, can't you?

木陰に咲いたタイム

母の庭の一角で撮ったタイムの花の写真です。
庭の隅に植えられたもので、すぐ横にはツバキの木があります。
撮影時にはその木の陰に入ってしまっていて、少し暗めに写りました。
ちなみに、母が最初に植えたのは小さな１株だったそうです。
背景の花々ももともとは同じ株だったことを知った上で見ると、タイムがどんなに逞しい草なのかがわかりますね。
