Thyme blooming on the sunny spot

I shot the thyme flowers that had grown at a corner of my mother's garden.
These flowers were blooming on the soil of the garden-center-side ground of the base of a camellia tree.
(Thyme on the other side was spreading onto the concrete of the drainage ditch.)
Even it was on the soil of the sunny spot, it didn't mean that it was the best environment.
Because, at the same corner, multiple other plants were also growing, such as the paeonia lactiflora and the leopard flower.
I wanted to express the strength of the thyme that was growing up not to be defeated by such other plants, so I put and blurred the young leaves of paeonia lactiflora in the foreground.
Maybe I was able to take a photo that even slightly conveys the atmosphere of my mother's garden that depends on the vitalities of plants, whether it grows or dies.

陽だまりのタイム

母の庭の片隅に根付いたタイムの花を撮りました。
この写真の花々はツバキの木の根元の庭の中心側の土の上に伸びた分です。
（反対側はコンクリート製の排水溝へと伸びて広がっていました）
日当たりのいい土の上だからと言って、ベストな環境というわけではありません。
同じ一角には、シャクヤクやヒオウギなど、複数の他の植物が根付いていますから。
そうした他の植物たちに負けじと育っているタイムの逞しさを表現しようと、前景にシャクヤクの若葉をボカして入れました。
植物たちの生命力任せな母の庭の雰囲気を垣間見られる写真にできたと思います。
