Tradescantia flowers under the overcast sky in the rainy season

In 2021, some parts of Japan entered the rainy season earlier than usual.
Just around that time, I took this photo of the tradescantia flowers that I found in the neighborhood.
While shooting, I remember thinking, "if this flower, which has a strong impression of blooming during the rainy season, is already blooming, it may be unavoidable to declared it has already entered the rainy season".
Unknowingly, in the background, I had put the overcast sky like that feeling of a little depression itself.

梅雨空とムラサキツユクサ

今年日本の一部地域は例年よりも早く梅雨入りしました。
これはちょうどその頃に撮った写真で、写っているのは近所で見かけたムラサキツユクサの花です。
梅雨の頃に咲く花という印象が強いこの花がもう咲いているのなら、早くも梅雨入りを宣言されても仕方がないかもしれないなと思ったことを覚えています。
奇しくもそんな少し憂鬱な気分そのもののような曇天を背景にできました。
