Distant view of weeding work

This is a photo of the weeding work in Sakaori Tanada (terraced paddy fields) in early summer 2021.
I shot the paddy field near the river from the observatory on the top of Tanada, so I used a zoom lens, but I couldn't capture the weeding worker large.
Instead, this photo can easily show the difficulty of work of walking alone while pushing the paddy field weeder between not-straight rows of rice seedlings in the not-square paddy fields, I think.
It is because of the such hardworks that delicious rice is produced, sure.

草取り作業を遠望する

初夏の坂折棚田で撮った草取り作業の様子です。
棚田最上段の展望所から川の近くの水田を撮影したので、ズームレンズを使いましたが作業スタッフの方を大きく写すことはできませんでした。
その代わり、四角くない水田の、真っ直ぐでない稲の列の間を、一人で水田中耕除草機を押して歩く作業の大変さが伝わりやすいかと思います。
このご苦労があるからこそ、美味しいお米が実るのですね。
