Orange daylily flower as if the lily turned red

While weeding in my mother's garden, I often notice that various plants are planted there.
Especially I didn't know much about the corner of the garden, so sometimes I'm surprised "there have been such flowers in this garden, really?".
The flower in this photo is one of them, and embarrassingly, I had thought "these leaves in the corner are in the way, why are there even though not-having flowers?", ever since until June 2021.
I didn't know surely that such a brightly colored flower that resembles a lily would bloom.
However, my mother willingly said me, "maybe because you weed frequently, the orange daylily are like to bloom more flowers than usual", it made me happy.
I'm going to weed politely around it also in the future so that it will bloom well next year.

赤いユリのようなノカンゾウの花

母の庭の草取りをしていると、いろんな草木が植えられていることに気づきます。
特に、庭の隅のほうは今までよく知らずにいましたので、「この庭、こんな花もあったのか」と驚くこともあります。
この写真の花もその１つで、恥ずかしながら、「この隅っこの葉っぱ、花も咲かないのに邪魔だなぁ」とこれまでずーっと思っていました。
まさか、こんな色鮮やかなユリに似た花が咲くなんて…。
ただ、嬉しいことに、母から「あんたがまめに草を取ってくれてるからか、今年はいつもより花がたくさん咲きそうやわ」と喜びの言葉をもらいました。
来年も元気に咲いてくれるよう、これからも周囲を丁寧に草取りしようと思います。
