Philadelphia fleabane in just beginning to bloom

In Sakaori Tanada (terraced paddy fields) in early summer 2021, there were the rows of still small rice seedlings and the weeding worker's footstamps.
And, there were also small white flowers of the philadelphia fleabane on the ridge between paddy fields.
The philadelphia fleabane was just beginning to bloom, so all had a flower only on the top of its flower stalk, and the rest buds, including one right next to a flower, were still about to swell.
A few days after the shooting day, small white flowers would have bloomed pretty and decorated Tanada in early summer, surely.

咲き始めのハルジオン

初夏の坂折棚田には、まだ小さな稲の苗と草取り作業の名残の足跡がありました。
そして、畦にはハルジオンの小さな白い花が。
まだ咲き始めたばかりで、どれも花茎の天辺にだけ花があり、そのすぐ横も含めて残りは蕾が膨らんでいるところでした。
この数日後には、きっと初夏の棚田を彩る小さな白い花々が可憐に咲いていたことでしょう。
