Daisy fleabane flowering on the paddy ridge in summer

This is one of photos I took at Sakaori Tanada (terraced paddy fields) in summer 2021.
Various grasses are growing naturally on the ridge between the observatory and the paddy fields.
There, the philadelphia fleabane had been in bloom in spring, and the daisy fleabane was blooming on the shooting day.
These 2 types of grass are very similar, but they have a difference in how the leaves grow from the stem.
In 2021, I knew this at the first time by looking up when I posted photos of each flower on Pixabay.
But, I'm embarrassed to say, perhaps I will be unable to distinguish between two types immediately, even if I see them again next year.

夏の畦を彩るヒメジョンの花

夏の坂折棚田で撮った写真のうちの１枚です。
展望台と水田の間にある畦には、さまざまな草が生えています。
春にはハルジオンが咲いていましたが、この日はヒメジョンが咲いていました。
この２種類はよく似ていますが、葉のつき方が違うそうです。
今年、それぞれの写真をPixabayに投稿する際に調べて初めて知りました。
でも恥ずかしながら、来年再び見かけても、きっとすぐに見分けられないと思います。
