Hey, flower chafer, you're too impatient, maybe.

This is a photo of a flower chafer I found when I was about to shoot a flower of Hibiscus syriacus.
It was trying to thrust its head into a bud even though there was a flower that had already bloomed in front of it.
The bud may have smelled very good for the flower chafer.
Even if that was true, I wonder if the flower chafer was a little too impatient.
Every time I see this photo, I can't help thinking so even now.

せっかちすぎやしないかい？

ムクゲの花を撮ろうとして見つけたハナムグリの写真です。
目の前に開花している花があるのに、懸命に蕾に頭を突っ込もうとしていました。
ハナムグリにとってとてもいい匂いがしていたのかもしれません。
それにしても、ちょっとせっかちすぎたんじゃないかしら。
この写真を見るたびに今でもそう思わずにはいられません。
