Summer view of Sakaori Tanada part 3

Sakaori Tanada (terraced paddy fields) is surrounded by mountains and is located in the higher altitude area in Ena City, Gifu Prefecture.
In the summer, the moist winds hit the mountains, causing clouds to easily form and to flow over the mountains.
This is a photo I took in the direction of the village in further back when the puffy and bulky clouds were blocking the sunlight.
I think you can see the difference between the colors of the sunny forests and the distant village and the colors of the shaded Tanada and the nearby village.
I also like the state of the clouds that seems to spring up as if going to cover the sky.

夏の坂折棚田 その３

坂折棚田は山々に囲まれており、岐阜県恵那市の中でも標高が高めの地区にあります。
夏には湿った風が山々に当たり、雲が生じやすく、上空を流れていきます。
この写真は、もこもことした雲が日差しを遮っている時に、さらに奥の集落のある方角を撮ったものです。
日が当たっている山林や遠くの集落の色と、陰っている棚田と近くの集落の色の違いがわかるでしょうか。
それに、空を覆わんばかりに湧き上がる雲の様子も、私は結構気に入っています。
