Shot from social distancing for the dragonfly

While I shot the rice plant flower at a paddy field in the neighborhood, a dragonfly was on the leaf of weed on the ridge.
That dragonfly stopped on the weed when I was shooting the rice plants, and when I pointed the camera at it to shoot, it took off from there and flew around.
So then, I pointed the camera at it little by little while pretending to shoot the rice plants, and adjusted the zoom setting while getting closer slowly.
I wanted to shoot it bigger and got too close, then it flew away, so then I gave up and shot the rice plant again, then it came back again in front of me.
One of photos I took while repeating this several times is this.
I wasn't able to shoot the dragonfly big, but instead that, I could take a photo that conveys summer atmosphere of a paddy field in a rural town, I think.

近所の水田で稲の花を撮影していた時、畦の草の上に１匹のトンボがいました。
そのトンボは、私が稲を撮影している間は草の葉に止まっていて、トンボを撮ろうとカメラを向けると草から飛び立って付近をくるくると飛び回りました。
そこで、稲を撮っているふりをしながら少しずつカメラの向きを変え、じりじりと歩み寄りながらズーム調整しました。
大きく写したくて接近しては逃げられ、諦めて稲を撮り始めるとまた目の前に来られ。
これを数回繰り返しながら撮ったうちの１枚が、この写真です。
トンボは大きく写せませんでしたが、その代わり、田舎町の水田の雰囲気が伝わる写真にできたかなと思います。
