Still immature rice ears

This is a photo I took rice ears which were just beginning to bear fruit at a paddy field in the residential area.
They were a little drooping but green yet and only slightly different in color from the leaves.
By the time these rice ears turn more yellow, they will grow in rich bunches and hang down more to look like heavily.

青い稲穂

住宅街の中にある水田で撮った、実り始めの稲穂です。
少し頭を垂らしていますがまだ青く、葉と少ししか色が違いません。
この稲穂がさらに黄色く染まる頃には豊かな房となり、重たげにもっと垂れ下がることでしょう。
